Celebrating 35 Years of Enriching Lives Through Art Mission: Renaissance brings you the first online news magazine with more than 30 pages of fine art news and events.

Never before have we been able to provide this much information about everything that has gone on at Mission: Renaissance throughout the year.

Did you know that a Mission: Renaissance student won the top honors in the 39th Annual Pentel International Art Contest? Well that and much more is inside this exciting new issue.

Mission: Renaissance News Vol. 38

Mission: Renaissance Newsletter Volume 38 was originally released in December 2008. Titled “Our Artistic Dreams Create Our Future” this issue contains a must read letter from Mission: Renaissance Founder, Larry Gluck, about the important role the artist has in shaping the future.

You will also read success stories from Dr. Mary Tao, and Rex Ridenoure, CEO Ecliptic Enterprises Corporation. This issue contains the list of 15 Mission: Renaissance students who won medals at the 38th Annual Pentel Awards and dozens of other students who won art contests throughout the city.

Mission: Renaissance News Vol. 37

Mission: Renaissance Fine Art Classes newsletter Vol 37 – Titled “How a Simple Idea Became a Mission”. This six page publication was originally released in 2007 and tells the story about how Mission: Renaissance first began. Written by Founder, Larry Gluck, you’ll read about the student who helped Larry prove that literally anyone can learn how to draw and paint.

This issue also contains an expose’ on the importance of the arts in education and provides statistical proof that students engaged in the arts “outperform other students by virtually every measure”.

Mission: Renaissance News Vol. 36

Originally published in December 2006 – Titled “Image..” this newsletter features the latest release of home instruction for children – The Art of Drawing for Kids – the first in a 3 part DVD set utilizing The Gluck Method of Fine Art Instruction.

This newsletter also announced the opening of Mission: Renaissance Fine Art Classes in Simi Valley, California.

Mission: Renaissance News Vol. 35

Titled “Inspiring Artists…What Inspires You?” this is the second of 2 newsletters published by Mission: Renaissance in 2005. For those who have always wanted to learn how to draw and how to paint this message from Larry Gluck will certainly inspire you.
